What can a consumer do about an illegal vehicle repossession that has now been charged off by the bank? I had my vehicle repossessed in Wisconsin by Chase Bank.

Under Wisconsin law, Chase is subject to a $25 fine for not providing you the proper letter AND actual damages sustained by the consumer because of the violation.
You should contact Legal Aid for assistance in this matter, if you cannot afford to hire an attorney.
