What are the car repssession laws for Georgia? What are the car repossession laws for Georgia? once the car is repossed what is the legal procedure to redeeming your vehicle or do you have no rights at that point. |

What What I understand by your question that if the vehicle is repossessed by the Financial Institution, who financed for the purchase of the same, due to default on the part of the customer, then what would be the remedy for the customer so that he can redeem the vehicle. If the customer has not committed any default in the payment of monthly installment and there is no outstanding liability against him then he could file a suit in the concerned court challenging the action of the institution and also prayed for the restraining order against the institution so that it may not sale the vehicle for the reimbursement of its loan. If there is outstanding liability against the customer then he should may the same and thereafter the institution will be bound to give back the vehicle to the customer.
