Vehicle repossession in virginia of deployed service member My husband is currently deployed and we live in virginia. Can they legally repossess our only vehicle while he is deployed leaving me & our children without a vehicle? |

Unfortunately they can, however, you have recourse in agencies like the SSCRA, the Soldiers & Sailors Civil Relief Act, which can put a 'cap' on loans. This is through the service person's unit's legal assistance. You need to write the creditor repossessing the vehicle letting them know that the owner/serviceman is on active duty & deployed. Then have your husband contact SSCRA for help.
