Should we seek legal representation concerning ther repossession of our Auto?

Filed bankruptcy, sent affirmation agreement to Bank for auto loan, no response so called bank, told we owed under 1000.00 so no need for reaffirmation. At that point we had an 80.00 credit. The payment was set up for automatic deduction and we were told no changes would take place. On Jan.9 at 2am a loud knock came on the door, I thought we were being robbed, then my husband said they were taking the car and we could contact the bank in the morning. We found out that the automatic payments had been stopped, so we were told in order to get the car back we would have to pay the late payments and repo fees. So we paid over 900.00. Got the car back. Called to find out payoff. Was told to pay 274.00 and the title would be sent. 10 days later no title. We called and guess what now we owed another 400.00 for the repo fees that were not included. We asked if they were going to contact us and they said no they couldn't because we had filed bankruptcy. That bankruptcy was discharged on 12/28. The other bank where our pickup was financed sent us monthly statements so we knew where we stood. The bank with the car said they couldn''t communicate with us at all due to the laws. I am so confused. We do have the title. but now we dont' sleep or trust anyone. We have asked the bank to send us a detailed listing off all the payment history but we have not received it and each time we call they just say it has been sent.
