You should get in touch with the wife and let her know that you intend to pay off your loan. It would be great if you could pay off the whole $1,200 but I know most people can't. Can you pay half up front? Like 600? If you can't get yourself to current by paying any late payments from the months you have missed.

If you talk to her I'm sure you could work out a deal. I'm sure she'd rather have the money then repo the car.

You would have to talk to them about it first. and come to some agreement to get them to call off the repossession of it.

I agree with Skoolie, i'm sure they would have the money instead of the car back.

The only way to stop it is to call & get current on your pymts., & stay current.
So hopefully, you are not too many months behind. But it will be less than 1200.
Do it before they repossess car, or to get it back, you have to pay fees, & bring your pymts current!
If you are not going to be able to this, clean out your car, get everything out , or you may not see your stuff again.
