Yes, a Recovery Agent can make contact you at your work and ask you the whereabouts of the Lien holders vehicle. If you do not want the Recovery Agent showing up to you place of employment, make your payments as you agreed when you signed the contract. Or call your lien holder and give them the location of there car.

Unfortunately the answer is yes. Remember, he is not after you, he is after the vehicle. It's the commission that he wants...Once again, it's all about money! You can legally be as verbally abusive as you want to! Tell him to get a real job, and stop feeding off of the financial dispair of others. Call him a bottomfeeder and have a baseball bat with you when you do this. Don't actually threaten him with it, just have it in his immediate sight!

If you submit a registered letter to the lien holder that thay can not contact you at your place of business and they do, then you have a case against them.

Hiding your vehicle can be a crime in many states. The reason that repo men come to your work site to repossess the car is that most people need a car to get to work and that is the easiest place to find it. Also, since the person is working, normally the car can be taken without anyone even knowing about it. If a repo man is coming to your work, you obviously don't need the car to actually get to work, so turn the car back in, or get caught back up with your payments.
