They can enter a gated communnitty if the can get in but they cannot go into a garage to get your vehicle and if you rent the property they can come on it but repo guys dont know if your the owner or a renter

Unfortunately, not unless it's an indian reservation. i watch operation repo, & the team entered an indian reservation illegally, & the indian police kicked them out & the cruiser escorted them down the road, despite the fact the team explained the fact that they were sent by the bank 2 repo a car. needless 2 say that the repo team were forced 2 leave w/o the car. operation repo had 2 gain acess in2 another area where they told a tale 2 gain entry & they got in. when asked if the repo team had an appointment 2 B there, sonia said yes & started bs'n & acting @ 1'st like all was cool; until it was time 2 hitch the car they were sent 4.
what i'm saying is that if some 1's behind on car pmts, private property won't mean a hill of beans 2 them. ppl fight the repo team all the time about private property, & when the repo man's there on duty, NO @ that time it's NOT private 2 the repo man.
another actuality on operation repo is a time when a band had a 30 y.o rv repoed after 30 yrs. regardless of where u r, if u owe $$$, the repo man WILL find the car & it WILL B repoed. ppl often get creative in things they do 2 prevent cars from repo, but regardless of the prevention, the ONLY prevention is keeping up on car pmts.
finally, do NOT fall in2 the trap of a 'piramid scam'. a young girl paid her pmts on time 2 yrs & when the repo man showed; they had 2 explain 2 her that she was the victim of a piramisd scam. sadly, they had 2 take the car, despite her efforts 2 keep it. i'm sure there r records of the car's purchase, & if she saved all her pmt receipts, then she has a case 4 a lawsuit
