My truck was repo'ed today? NEED TO KNOW? I come home from the store and my truck was gone about 6pm or so. I had forgotten to make a payment to car title loans place. Later in the evening a friend called me and told me my truck was sitting in a parking lot 1.5 miles from the lenders business. I went to the truck, the door hadn't been locked and all my personal stuff was their for the taking...i took my personal stuff out. NOW, MY QUESTION IS, LOOKS LIKE THE REPO MAN GOT MY LOAN/TRUCK MIXED UP WITH ANOTHER COMPANY'S TITLE LOAN AND DROPPED THE TRUCK TO THE INCORRECT COMPANY...CAN I TAKE MY TRUCK? AND OF COURSE I WILL MAKE THE PAST DUE PAYMENTS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING...BY THE MISSISSIPPI STATE LAWS ,,,I WOULD THINK THE REPO MAN OR THE LOAN COMPANY WOULD HAVE TO HAVE POSSION OF THE TRUCK? AM I CORRECT? |
