Previously a Landlord's Complaint for Repossession of Rented Property was filed against me and the rent was satisfied but resulted in late and legal fees for three months neither of which is on the court disposition signed by the judge that I am in possession of. One month pertaining to the legal fee is being contested (I may have to write the court about the situation it includes a month {May} that wasn’t current). Since asking the landlord for proper accounting of only the legal fees which is above the court cost (i.e. court fees $54.00 and landlord billing me for $75) the request has not been forthcoming and this has resulted in accrued interest to the open balance for both the late and legal fees. Can a landlord assess accrued interest on late and legal fees if it is not noted in the lease?
