Christmas Repo

I was buying a vehicle from a man who died. His daughter took over accepting my payments. I sent a payment which was lost in the mail, I resent the payment, but the issue snowballed into my car being repossessed. I have paid all the principal on the vehicle and only owe the interest. The daughter was to contact me per our last convo via text to work out details following the lost payment and where I was to make future payments to ensure no repeat of the lost payment, she has never contacted me since. I was out of work for 2 months having a baby and surgery. I have since returned to work and sent her a text wanting to pay off the vehicle and transfer title. I sent 4 messages and no response. On the 4th day she came and took the car with no notice. She has all my property, my car and all my money and has yet to contact me. I am looking for assistance and legally what to do next before I contact her. I just want my car or my money.
