Car repossession If a person is behind on the car payments, can the creditor repossess the car? |

In most cases yes. The exact details are spelled out in the contract you signed when you bought the car. Most creditors will work with you and will not repossess the car over a few late payments as long as you keep communicating with them and make some kind of attempt to get back current. Repossession is the last resort when they've given up on ever seeing more money.

Yes creditors can repossess your vehicle. the best is to contact them and make some type of arrangement and keep to it. i have done vehicle repossession and it is sad to take someones car. do not try and hide they will find you sooner or later. phone them. most creditors are very understanding and helpfull

Yes of course.In my experience you usually have to be two months behind and have not tried to contact the loan holder.If you communicate with them they would rather you keep the car and they get the money.Make no mistake Your car will be yanked from wherever they find you and they will find you
