Automobile repossession I just found out, that a car I had co-signed on was repossessed over 4 years ago, and I now have received a letter from a collection agency to the attention of my estate. I have no clue who told them I was deceased and was NEVER notified of any repossessing of the vehicle. The person I co-signed with told me that the car had been sold outright. I no longer speak with this person, but know where they are. Any suggestions? |

Well the person might of lied to you. If you co/signed and the car was repoed then you would be liable for any amount of money that was still owing after the sale of the car. You might need to contact the person that you co signed for and see what they say and also notifly the company that sent you the letter out.
